FloArts Open House

After a year-long process of auditions and school visits, Open House at Florida School of the Arts is finally the time when the school auditions for you. It is a day we’ve designed to provide you with ample opportunities to get a sense of the place, where you’ll hear directly from the people you’ll potentially be studying with, teachers, and students. We hope you’ll take full advantage of this chance to get to know us. Included in the day’s events will be the Faculty Exhibition, works by all current visual arts faculty, a Q&A with students and alumni, tours of our facilities, dinner with faculty, students, and staff, and a production of “Gypsy,” a musical classic with music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and a book and play written by Arthur Laurents.

See you soon!

Here’s the information we will need: your name, how many guests will attend with you, your discipline of preference (ie. studio art, graphic design/new media design, photography, animation, acting, musical theatre, dance, costume design, scenic and lighting design, or stage management), and whether or not you and your guests will be staying for dinner and the musical that evening. There is no charge for Open House and dinner and tickets to the show are provided free to all Open House guests. We’re looking forward to meeting you. We have a great day planned for your visit!
